Do I do any coaching? I dunno.

Hastings is a nice town – quaint main street. But it’s in the middle of farming country so there’s not much in the way of scenery. But it’s home, and always will be for me.

The reality is, I’ve heard of the place, and I know it’s in Denver somewhere, but I couldn’t tell you where. I haven’t been in a “gentleman’s” club in over 30 years, since I was in the army at Ft. Bragg, North Carolina. I encourage you to explore both!

It takes real courage to expose ourselves like that, John. So, thanks for sharing that intimate part of yourself. And, congratulations on your show and I hope it is a great success. It’s really not that far from me so maybe I could make a road trip. Wait a minute.

Diamond Debbie? Just thinking, the Diamond Cabaret is closer maybe that could be my day trip.

Thanks, Paul. Yes, the elevator is in Heartwell, Nebraska, about 20 miles west of Hastings, on Highway 6. I had seen this elevator many times but the clouds invited me to take the photo this time.

Well, I’d love to stop by and see the showing, but I don’t plan on being in Nebraska anytime soon (although I will be in South Dakota and Wyoming in September). So I guess you’re just going to have to post them all!

Was the grain elevator (shown here) in Nebraska? In our many trips up and down I-70 we’ve passed many of these things. Some were still in use and some were abandoned. I always wanted to stop for pictures but never did. We don’t have those things here (at least none that I’ve seen). The clouds “make” the image here, in my opinion. Makes me think of the nasty weather plowing through Oklahoma right now…….
